‘Wow,’ says Tim Howard, of Tottenham’s’special’ £25 million player with so much talent.

Tim Howard believes Dejan Kulusevski’s form for Tottenham Hotspur this season is demonstrating why he is a wonderful player.

Dejan Kulusevski is one of the Spurs players who has really stepped up as Ange Postecoglou’s side has been suffering with injuries.

In recent weeks, the Sweden international has been simply explosive. He scored and assisted in the 0-0 draw with Manchester City at the beginning of the month. And Kulusevski did it again on Friday, when he was superb against Nottingham Forest.

Tottenham have a great player in Dejan Kulusevski, according to Tim Howard.
Due to the form of James Maddison and Heung-min Son, the 23-year-old flew under the radar in the early stages of the season. However, he has recently been outstanding.

And, according to Tim Howard of The 2 Robbies podcast, Tottenham fans are finally seeing the best of the winger after a rough season last year.

“I think the underappreciated aspect comes from the fact that when he first came on loan, he was lights out, wasn’t he?” He was incredible. ‘Wow, this guy’s direct, he’s sharp, he comes inside on his left foot,’ you thought. I believe he went off the boil last year. That’s why, when you see him at his best, you say, wow, he’s a special, special left-footed player. He has a lot of talent and a lot to offer,” he remarked.

Winger may not be able to remain unnoticed for much longer.
Kulusevski has now been personally involved in 30 goals for Spurs in 75 games. When you consider how difficult last season was for everyone affiliated with the club, that is an incredible return.

Richarlison appears to be settling comfortably at Spurs. With that, the Brazilian could play behind a three-man attack of Son, Maddison, and Kulusevski.

Tottenham spending £25 million to make Kulusevski’s move permanent appears to be a masterstroke right now. And, given some of the sums paid by some clubs, it’s definitely fair to suggest the deal isn’t receiving enough credit.

Kulusevski has historically been underappreciated. But if his present form continues, it’s difficult to envision anyone not giving him the credit he deserves.
