Ray-Ray McCloud is back for the 49ers, but Jauan Jennings is out.
On Saturday, the 49ers made multiple moves, including bringing Ray-Ray McCloud back to the active roster.
McCloud was activated from injured reserve, and his presence will be appreciated after the team ruled out Danny Gray and Jauan Jennings for Sunday’s game against the Rams. Tight end Ross Dwelley was also placed on injured reserve, fullback Kyle Jusczyk was downgraded to questionable with an illness, while safety Tayler Hawkins and running back Jeremy McNichols were promoted.
McCloud has been out since Week 12 due to rib injuries. In the first 11 games of the season, he had nine catches for 113 yards and two carries for 23 yards. He also had a 22.5 yard average on kickoff returns and an 8.5 yard average on punt returns.
Regardless of the outcome on Sunday, the 49ers will have a bye in the first week of the playoffs, and several key players, including quarterback Brock Purdy and running back Christian McCaffrey, will not play.
Mitch Morse is removed off the Bills’ injury report for Sunday.
The Bills only designated one player as injured for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins, and they revealed on Saturday that he has been removed from the injury list as well.
Center Mitch Morse was listed as questionable for Week 18 due to sickness, but the Bills have removed him from the injury report just one day before their AFC championship game in Miami. This means that every player on the active roster will play on Sunday.
While the Bills are injury-free, the Dolphins have a couple to address before kickoff. Jaylen Waddle, Raheem Mostert, and Jerome Baker, all wide receivers, are listed as questionable to participate.
The Bills can still make the playoffs if they lose against the Dolphins, but a win would give them the AFC’s No. 2 seed and a home game next weekend.
