Patrick Mahomes & Travis Kelce Make NFL History in 2024 AFC Divisional Round
The Kansas City Chiefs advanced to the AFC Championship Game after defeating the Buffalo Bills. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce set a new record for the most touchdowns by a quarterback-receiver duo in the NFL playoffs, passing Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski with their two touchdowns tonight. It’s unclear how long the two players will hold this record.
This will be interesting to see if they can step up and continue to add to their record while the Kansas City Chiefs can get more touchdowns out of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Going up against the Baltimore Ravens defense will be a difficult task, but Kelce has 33 catches for 465 yards and two scores in five games versus them. Mahomes looked fantastic and shown that he can perform well in a road playoff game.
While it is far too early to predict how the betting markets will react to an anytime touchdown for the two, don’t be surprised if the Mahomes-MaAuto connection continues next week.
