Chad Johnson claims he’s now a coach on the Raiders staff.

First, Antonio Pierce, the Las Vegas Raiders’ new head coach, signed Marvin Lewis, the former Cincinnati Bengals coach, as his assistant.

Then, Hue Jackson, former Bengals offensive coordinator and assistant coach, interviewed for a position on the Raiders’ offensive staff. Now, renowned Bengals wide receiver and Ring of Honor inductee Chad Johnson says he wants to join the coaching staff as well.

It all started with Johnson tweeting to his 3.1 million followers that he was having dinner with the new Raiders coach and planned to utilize the opportunity to work his way onto the team’s coaching staff.

It might be true, or it might not be. What I do know is that if the Raiders employ Jackson and Johnson to join Marvin, three of the major cornerstones of some of the Bengals’ most explosive attacks will reunite.

All they need now is a 6-foot-5, 235-pound quarterback with concrete shoes and a cannon arm to join, and the 2000s Bengals will be resurrected in silver and black.
