David Moyes rules Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio.

The Hammers face the Gunners in a massive London derby on Sunday afternoon, with Moyes hoping for his first Premier League win in a while after three draws and a defeat in his last four games.

He will be without Paqueta due to a calf ailment, as well as Antonio, who has returned to training after a knee injury but is not yet ready to play.

‘Lucas Paquetá isn’t ready yet,’ Moyes stated during a press conference on Friday. Michael Antonio has begun training, but has just spent two days with the group.

It’s nice to get him back, but he’s still not match fit and available.’

Moyes will face Mikel Arteta, whom he has a lot of regard for after managing him at Everton and being very impressed with his work at Arsenal.
‘The manager has done an excellent job leading the team. “They’ve got some really top quality players,” Moyes said of Arsenal.

‘They are truly a good team. We did an excellent job winning at the Emirates, and we’ve had some positive successes against them in general.
‘We’ll have to work hard and perform well again when we face them on Sunday.’

Arteta has already expressed his high regard for Moyes, saying last season: ‘It’s more than respect; I think it’s admiration. I enjoyed playing under him. When he was my manager, I would have done anything for him, as would everyone else on that team.
‘[He’s] an excellent coach who excels in group management and dealing with people, as well as a really special guy who is trustworthy and keeps his word. He constantly did that, and I learned a lot from him.’
