Former NFL MVP Adrian Peterson was caught on video looking worse for wear on Friday night after an evening of partying in

Peterson, dressed in a grey suit and black shoes, did not cause any real commotion despite his apparent intoxication.

The running back has not played since the 2021 season, when he suited up for both the Seahawks and Titans.

Las Vegas.

Peterson, 38, is in Sin City for Super Bowl week and wound up at the Wynn Las Vegas after an apparent night of drinking.

And the former Vikings star was seen stumbling through the lobby before ultimately being set up with a taxi.

Peterson at one point dropped his phone on the ground, and could be heard chatting with hotel staff as he tried to plot his way home.

The employees then flagged down a car, and he shook hands with one of them as he walked away from the hotel.

Nonetheless, he has yet to officially announce his retirement

‘Mentally, I haven’t officially hung it up,’ Peterson told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in May.

‘We’ll see what happens. My mindset is, if God’s willing maybe an opportunity presents itself and maybe it happens this season… But nothing happens this season. For sure, I will be hanging it up.’

Peterson, who won the MVP award in 2012 and led the league in rushing yards on three occasions, has had a checkered legal history off the field.

In 2014, he was indicted on a felony charge for using a switch to discipline his four-year-old son.

Peterson avoided jail time but was given two years of probation, a $4,000 fine and 80 hours of community service.

He was also arrested in 2022 on suspicion of domestic violence following an argument between him and his wife Ashley on a flight.

Ashley did not press charges and defended her husband afterwards, though Peterson agreed to domestic violence counseling afterwards.
