Mystery Premier League clubs want to sign 26-year-old Leeds United player now

Daniel Farke is getting the best out of a number of Leeds United players, and in the case of Joe Rodon, it’s fair to say he’s in top form right now. However, that is drawing a lot of attention.

Rodon, 26, initially starred for Swansea before joining Tottenham in the summer of 2020. However, he struggled to make an impact at Spurs, appearing only 24 times in two seasons.

He was loaned out to Rennes last season, where he struggled to impress. But now, at Leeds, Rodon is back to his best. Yes, it is a step down in division, but Rodon has been outstanding.

Leeds will be hoping to secure a permanent agreement for the Wales international. Spurs are expected to demanding a stunning £20 million for Rodon. His contract with Spurs expires in June 2025, which might lessen the price tag.

It has also been stated that Leeds would need to be promoted in order to purchase Rodon. According to TeamTalk, we are not alone in our pursuit of a permanent deal, as ‘anonymous’ Premier League clubs are also interested.

Of course, it may take promotion for Leeds to entice Rodon. However, it makes financial sense for us to only buy Rodon if our earnings increase. Spending more than £10 million on a player in the Championship is pricey.

If Leeds win promotion, you’d think Rodon would want to stay at Elland Road after being a member of the winning team – and Daniel Farke’s Leeds side includes a number of Wales teammates.

However, the pull of the Premier League is clearly clear and available to Rodon regardless of promotion. The interest from top-tier clubs makes it the more vital for Leeds to move up in order to secure his permanent transfer.
