Patrick Bamford issue leads to very late Leeds United change at Swansea City.
Due to a Patrick Bamford concern, Leeds United manager Daniel Farke was forced to make a last-minute alteration to his starting lineup for Tuesday night’s Championship match at Swansea City.Farke had picked an unchanged side for the match, but was forced to make a late change to his XI after Whites no. 9 Bamford pulled out during the warm-up.

“It’s unclear whether it’s a muscle problem or ligaments; it happened during warm-up. It’s quite difficult to tell. His first reaction was that it wasn’t too bad, but we couldn’t tell if it was muscular or if he had overstretched his knee and injured a ligament.
“I hope it’s not too bad; we’ll need him for the upcoming games.” He walked in and said, “I don’t feel ready to go,” so Joel had to come in. He performed flawlessly, not only on his aim but also on his workload. He did not make us nervous, and we strictly adhered to the plan. I’m pleased with how the team responded.
