Manchester United youngster Harry Amass will not be included in the senior squad that faces Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
Erik ten Hag’s team is once again dealing with an injury issue at left-back, with Luke Shaw set to miss another stint.

United issued a statement this week stating that he expects to be unavailable for ‘a few months’, with rumours indicating that he is unlikely to play again this season, casting doubt on his participation in England’s Euro 2024 campaign.

With Tyrell Malacia still recovering from a long-term knee injury, United fans have been keen to see 16-year-old sensation Amass given the opportunity to flourish in their absence.
The left-back has trained with the first-team on multiple occasions since the turn of the year, and rejoined the senior side this week ahead of the visit of Fulham

However, Amass was named to United’s starting XI for their Under-18 match against Middlesbrough early on Saturday afternoon, therefore putting him out of playing against the Cottagers later that day.
Victor Lindelof has stepped in at left-back in United’s last two games, following Sofyan Amrabat’s deployment earlier this season.

Malacia, one of ten Hag’s first acquisitions in Manchester after joining from Feyenoord in 2022, has not featured since May of the season.

The Netherlands international underwent knee surgery, but his absence has sparked speculation and frustration among fans.
