Jarrod Bowen admission about David Moyes should really concern everyone involved with West Ham.
West Ham boss David Moyes is under intense pressure right now following his team’s disastrous run, and Jarrod Bowen’s poor form hasn’t helped matters.
The 27-year-old Hammers attacker is now struggling, having not scored or assisted since January 7th.
West Ham, and Moyes in particular, need require Bowen to return to his best form. The Scot’s apparent determination not to be fired likely explains why he rushed Jarrod back from injury last month.
Bowen’s latest claim is that the Hammers manager did exactly that…
The Hammers forward spoke to the club’s official website today, admitting that he has been playing through injuries for the last month.
Bowen missed barely two weeks of activity after suffering what appeared to be a catastrophic injury during our FA Cup match against Bristol City.
Moyes has a history of pushing players back from injury; even those close to Lucas Paqueta are anxious that the Scot would return the Brazilian to action too soon in order to save his job.
Let us hope that the Scot’s decision to bring Jarrod back into the fold as quickly as possible does not pose long-term complications for the forward.
If the Hammers are to be successful both domestically and on the continent, the former Hull City star must be in top form between now and the end of the season.
David Moyes will be hoping he didn’t rush Jarrod Bowen back for our game against Sheffield United just over a month ago.
