Sell him for millions’ – West Ham with signing chance on horizon, Hammers offer needs upping

During the January transfer window, West Ham United were linked with a fairly intriguing deal for Valentin Carboni.

The teenage midfielder is now on loan at AC Monza from Inter Milan, but the latter were not interested in selling him midway through the season, therefore the Hammers’ claimed proposal was turned down.

This summer, however, could be different, as Tuttosport reports that the Serie A club has a decision to make that could benefit West Ham.

They say the Argentine will return to Milan at the end of the campaign, and Simone Inzaghi’s side will have three choices at their disposal.

They can either keep him around and play him if they believe he is ready, send him out on loan again, or’sell him for millions’, like they did with Cesare Casadei and Chelsea, to’replenish their coffers’.

That is the choices West Ham will pursue, and it will be intriguing to watch if the Hammers return.
If they do, they are likely to require significantly more than the alleged £14 million or so they put out, as the youngster is highly regarded by the Serie A club.
