You’re Nuts: Who will be Ohio State’s highest-rated player in EA Sports College Football 25?

Who will be the Buckeyes’ top offensive and defensive players when the college football video game returns?

Everyone knows that one of the most enjoyable aspects of being a sports fan is debating and dissecting the most (and least) relevant issues in the athletic world with your pals. So we’re bringing it to LGHL’s pages through our favourite head-to-head column, You’re Nuts.

In You’re Nuts, two LGHL employees will take opposing positions on a single subject and fight vehemently. Finally, it’s up to you to decide who’s right and who’s nuts.

This week’s topic is: Who will be Ohio State’s top-rated player in EA Sports College Football 25?

Josh’s Take (Offence)
Several announcements, a teaser trailer, and Chris Fowler’s behind-the-scenes peek have revealed that EA Sports’ College Football game is finally making its long-awaited return… but this time for real. After more than a decade of rumours and false optimism, the greatest video game franchise ever (yes, I said it) is back. At the very least, it will happen this summer.

EA Sports hasn’t been too helpful with information, which appear to be due in May. However, we do know that players can opt in for $600 and a copy of the game. There will also be extra earnings potential for athlete ambassadors who collaborate with EA to promote CFB25.

We also know that Fowler and other CFB media celebrities, including as Kirk Herbstreit and Rece Davis, have been working on this for years. So it appears that the new version of the game will be just as wonderful, if not better, than the old(er) version we grown to enjoy. This is especially true given that technology has advanced significantly since the game’s release in 2014. With Denard Robinson on the cover, this is… gross.

However, a new edition means that a Michigan player will not be the last cover athlete to represent this amazing franchise. Win, win, win(s) everywhere, baby.
