Goals: West United Ham 4-2 Brentford.
Jarrod Bowen’s first Premier League hat-trick propelled West Ham United to a well-deserved 4-2 victory over Brentford, ending a six-game winless streak.
The hosts got off to a fast start at London Stadium, with England forward Bowen scoring twice before the seven-minute mark, only for the Bees to respond through Neal Maupay.
Chances for both sides kept the game close until Bowen increased his season goal tally to 14 with a nice header in the 63rd minute, Emerson made it 4-1 with a fantastic drive, and Yoane Wissa added a late consolation for Brentford.
Victory moves David Moyes’ side up to eighth place in the standings, trailing Brighton & Hove Albion only on goal difference, ahead of an away trip to Everton on Saturday, March 2.
