Marco Silva refused to apologise for Fulham’s Tiktok mocking Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes for pretending to be injured, but took a diplomatic tone during his pre-match press conference in a bid to quell sensationalist coverage of the social media feud this week.

He is a high-quality player and a top professional. You are not a Manchester United captain unless you have the entire package in one box and are an extremely important player.
