Armando Broja is currently on loan at Fulham, and CaughtOffside reports that the west London club may want to sign him permanently at the conclusion of the season.
At the same time, with Chelsea valuing the striker at £35 million, the same source believes Fulham are also looking into Al-Shabab’s Habib Diallo, who may be a far cheaper option.
Broja has yet to start a Premier League game for the Cottagers since joining the club. He’s only made three substitute appearances thus far.
Mauricio Pochettino let Broja go in the hopes that he would get more playing time, but that has not happened yet.
Fulham FC vs AFC Bournemouth – Premier League
Fulham are considering signing Habib Diallo instead of Armando Broja.
If Chelsea does not lower their valuation of Broja, Fulham will likely look for alternatives such as Diallo.
The fact that Broja is not starting games at Craven Cottage right now is also a concern for Chelsea, who are looking to trade the 22-year-old to the Premier League club.
Overall, as of yet, this loan shift has not been particularly beneficial to anyone. However, there is still time before the season ends, so Broja should be able to turn things around.
With Christopher Nkunku suffering up another injury, the Albania international may have been better suited staying at Stamford Bridge.
Nothing can be done now, therefore he must make the most of his time at Chelsea’s West London opponents.
If this does not happen, the Blues will not receive £35 million from Fulham or any other club for that matter. It’s a lot of money for someone who hasn’t played any football in the last year due to injuries.
