West Ham showing interest in one of the best wingers in Europe right now.

West Ham have a very talented group, and they were able to recruit a few vital players this summer, including promising attacker Mohmmed Kudus and veteran Premier League maestro James Ward-Prowse.

Despite growing concerns about David Moyes, the Hammers are now sixth in the Premier League and have a good chance of qualifying for European football in the 2024/25 season.

Injuries have taken their toll in the second half of the season, particularly on the offensive end, emphasising the need for extra options. West Ham should prioritise adding talent to their striker and flank positions in the summer of 2024.

According to Sky Sport Deustchland’s Dennis Bayer, West Ham are one among the teams interested in VfB Stuttgart player Chris Führich.

Stuttgart has been one of European football’s biggest success stories, rising from near relegation last season to Champions League contention this season.

Bayer Leverkusen have overshadowed the Stuttgart tale, while Fürhich has been eclipsed by teammate and star scorer Serhou Guirassy, who should also be on the Hammers’ radar.

However, Führich has been quite good in his own right, scoring six goals and seven assists while averaging 2.5 dribbles completed and 1.8 critical passes per game.

His statistical output has dropped recently, but Führich remains a bright spot for Stuttgart and is entering his prime at the age of 26.

West Ham could use an upgrade on the left wing, particularly a true left winger capable of progressing play, scoring and assisting. Führich possesses a good shooting despite being a pass-first player, and he dribbles the ball with silky smoothness.

Führich was a bright spot for Stuttgart last season despite their troubles, and now that they have a better team, he is developing into one of the most productive wingers in European sport.

At a price below 30 million euros, Führich might be another savvy signing for the Hammers, adding to Ward-Prowse and Kudus’ 21 combined goals in 2023/24.
