There is no denying that Leicester City have had a successful Championship campaign thus far.
Putting their disappointment at being relegated from the Premier League behind them, the Foxes have taken the league by storm for much of the season, at times maintaining a dominating lead at the top of the table.
With Leeds United, Ipswich Town, and Southampton back in the mix, things are looking competitive at the top once more, and the season is shaping up to be an interesting finish.
Putting the pitch aside for a moment, we decided to look at Leicester City’s ticket costs this season, specifically the cost of their season tickets.
We wanted to find out how the Foxes have provided value for money this season, as well as how they compare to other Championship clubs.
To determine where Leicester City’s season tickets rank, we must first determine the lowest priced adult season ticket available at the King Power Stadium this season.
Fortunately, Statista has compiled this data, and according to their findings, the cheapest Leicester City adult season ticket available in 2023/24 was £385.
Despite the fact that the club has recently been relegated from the Premier League, their prices are not among the highest in the competition.
According to Statista, Leicester City’s £385 season ticket is the 12th cheapest in the division, somewhat less than Sunderland’s (£390) and slightly more than Bristol City’s (£375).
While Leicester’s cheapest season ticket is £385, others in the division charge significantly higher prices.
Take Middlesbrough, for example. According to Statista, the lowest season ticket available at the Riverside Stadium costs £590 – far more than Leicester City.
The second most expensive adult season ticket in the division is also in the £500 range, with Sheffield Wednesday apparently costing £510 for their cheapest full season ticket option.
Norwich City (£488), Millwall (£441), and Blackburn Rovers (£429) complete the top five.
