Newcastle United, Arsenal, and Chelsea have showed interest in signing 19-year-old Mario Dorgeles, a rising star in the Danish league who plays for FC Nordsjaelland.

Dorgeles was first brought to Newcastle’s notice by their sporting director Dan Ashworth, and both Arsenal and Chelsea have noted his rising quality, hinting at a potential bidding war this summer.

The young midfielder, noted for his defensive qualities and work rate, has had an erratic season in terms of playing time but remains a highly sought-after player.

Despite his limited playing time (884 minutes this season), his efforts have piqued the interest of several Premier League clubs. While his contract runs until the summer of 2026, the actual transfer cost that would be requested remains unknown.

Dorgeles, who is left-footed, typically plays central midfield but is also capable of playing defensively and offensively.

His market value has continuously climbed since leaving Ghana’s Right to Dream in the summer of 2022, despite its high of €750k is effectively ‘free’ in terms of Premier League football clubs.

Dorgeles is handled by Premier Sports Talent and is their second-most valuable client behind Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has a current market worth of €4 million.
