Arsenal should try to sign ‘really special’ West Ham player this summer.

After raiding West Ham United for Declan Rice last summer, Arsenal should look to their London rivals for another signing.

It’s undoubtedly interesting to speculate who Mikel Arteta’s top aims will be in the coming season.

While the immediate focus will be on navigating a journey to the Etihad and then a meeting with Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich, one eye will be fixed on the summer.

It had long been assumed that a striker would be the priority, but that may now have to wait another year.

Ivan Toney’s value appears to have dropped significantly since his comeback, Victor Osimhen may face stiff competition, and Viktor Gyokeres’ Premier League competence must still be questioned.

As a result, Arsenal may consider strengthening other parts of their squad until a better opportunity arises.

With that in mind, this could be a great time to rekindle their summer interest in Mohammed Kudus.

Kudus, described as a’really exceptional kid’ by colleague Jarrod Bowen, has already showed his impressive ability and promise in England.

This summer, Arsenal should revive interest in West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus.
Kudus has appeared in 34 games for the Hammers this season, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists.

Six of those goals have come in the Premier League, and the Ghanaian has had a strong start both before and after the AFCON.

The £38 million spent by West Ham for Kudus is currently a bargain for the winger, who may cost Arsenal nearly double that amount given his long-term deal.

However, given that Kudus is only 23 years old and capable of replacing both Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka on either side, it could be worthwhile.

Arsenal may regret not signing Kudus ahead of West Ham in the summer, but they may have been aware of their FFP limit.

However, with reports that Emile Smith Rowe could be sold after the season is over, there is reason to assume a deal can be reached immediately.

Kudus would undoubtedly increase the level of competitiveness in Arteta’s squad, since the player excels when facing a low block.

The West Ham player is also extremely adaptable in attacking situations and may have been handy against FC Porto for Arsenal last week, for example.

Yes, it is a costly purchase, but one that Arsenal will not be disappointed with.

That being said, Arsenal may still mourn the day they were beaten by Manchester United to a single deal.
