Denver Nuggets Injury Report: Multiple Knicks Starters Hurt for Tonight’s Matchup.

Tonight, the Denver Nuggets (48-21) will meet the 41-27 New York Knicks at Ball Arena. It’s a clash of championship contenders. Denver is currently the West’s second seed and the overwhelming favorite to defend its championship from last summer. New York is the fourth seed in the East and hopes to go over its second-round performance last season. Neither team is complete, but one is significantly closer than the other!

According to the NBA’s most recent injury report, the Knicks will suffer the most crucial, ailment-related absences this evening. New York will be without forwards OG Anunoby, who has suffered a setback with his surgically repaired right elbow, and All-Star Julius Randle, who has been sidelined since January 27th due to a dislocated right shoulder. Center Mitchell Robinson has missed all but 21 games for the New York Knicks this season due to left ankle surgery, but he is allegedly gradually increasing his efforts in hopes of returning for the regular season.

Denver will be missing backup small forward Vlatko Cancar, who is still recovering from left knee surgery. Zeke Nnaji, the reserve power forward/center, is uncertain due to lower back injury. Collin Gillespie and Jay Huff, both two-way players, are away playing for the team’s NBAGL affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold.

Two months ago, the Knicks defeated Denver 122-84. Tonight’s rematch, which will be their final regular-season encounter in 2023-24, will begin at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET. It’s accessible on NBA League Pass, Altitude in Denver, and MSG TV in New York.
