SuperSport United to hijack key Orlando Pirates target?.

A player who has long been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates appears to be on his way to a rival Gauteng club.

SuperSport United has reportedly entered the race to sign an Orlando Pirates transfer target!

Shaune Mogaila has long been linked with a move to the Buccaneers, but Gavin Hunt is allegedly eager to capture the fast winger.

Mogaila was dismissed by Royal AM last month after 63 appearances, four goals, and six assists.

“SuperSport United are interested in signing former Royal AM winger Shaune Mogaila for the 2024/25 season,” an IDiskiTimes report stated.

“This publication understands that Matsatsantsa are interested in Mogaila, who was previously linked with Orlando Pirates before joining Royal AM.”

“Mogaila departed AM beyond the transfer window, meaning he will not be able to play again this season. “He can only sign a contract for the coming season.”

In other news, former Orlando Pirates striker Gabadinho Mhango is coveted by a rival DStv Premiership club.

Currently playing for Swallows FC, the Malawian attacker has been linked with a move to Sekhukhune United!

Mhango has represented Bloemfontein Celtic, Golden Arrows, Bidvest Wits, Orlando Pirates, and AmaZulu.

The former Orlando Pirates player has 66 club goals since moving to South Africa in 2013.

“Mhango is one of the guys who has been identified as someone who could come and help the team,” an insider told Citizen about the former Pirates and Wits player.
