Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle United preparing offers to sign Federico Chiesa.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United are reportedly vying for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa’s signature this summer.

According to Spanish website Fichajes, Arsenal and Chelsea have joined Newcastle in the fight to recruit the Italian international, with each set to make an offer in the summer.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the cash-strapped Italian club, which missed out on a Champions League ticket last season after finishing seventh in Serie A in a contentious fashion.

Chiesa has been unable to showcase his skill over the last two seasons owing to extended periods on the sidelines due to injury, but he has rebounded and delivered a remarkable production this season, scoring seven goals and assisting twice in 24 games.

Chiesa’s contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in 2025, therefore Bianconeri officials must meet with his entourage to discuss the player’s future and decide which path the Italian winger wants to take.

It is not guaranteed that Chiesa will accept to a new long-term contract at the Allianz Stadium. If he does not sign a contract extension, Juventus will prepare to sell him in the summer, since they do not want him to become a free agent at the end of the 2024-25 season.

Newcastle, Chelsea, and Arsenal are all expected to submit proposals for Federico Chiesa.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Chiesa, but it is claimed that Juventus is willing to sell their No. 7 owing to financial issues, which has undoubtedly raised alarms in the Premier League.

Newcastle United, for one, is mulling a large summer bid for the Juventus winger. Eddie Howe is looking to bolster his squad following a dismal season, and he wants to acquire a new winger to replace the failing duo of Miguel Almiron and Jacob Murphy.

In addition to Newcastle, Arsenal and Chelsea have pondered making offers for the Juventus wing wizard.

It is no secret that Arsenal seek to strengthen their offense by adding a new prolific goal scorer. However, it appears like Mikel Arteta is also looking to reinforce the flanks this summer, as the North London club has been linked with a number of players recently, including Pedro Neto, Michael Olise, and Nico Williams.

Similarly, Chelsea will prioritize an out-and-out attacker this summer, with Victor Osimhen and Benjamin Sesko among the primary targets.

Given the hefty cost of a striker, a move for a high-ceiling winger like Chiesa may be contingent on Chelsea’s ability to generate finances through player sales.

A deal for Chiesa would also cast doubt on the long-term prospects of Raheem Sterling and possibly Mykhailo Mudryk.
