COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (KKTV) Reggie Jackson, a former Palmer High School student and current Denver Nuggets guard, received a surprise of his own on Thursday when visiting patients and workers at UCHealth Memorial Hospital North.
According to UCHealth, Jackson was surprised by some of his former Palmer High instructors and coaches before spending time with patients in three separate medical units. Jimmy Grantz, Jackson’s high school basketball coach, was among many who paid him visits. Those that surprised Jackson gave him a Palmer High shirt and hoodie and congratulated him for giving back to his community.
“It honestly means the world for me to be here,” Jackson said. “I’ve always been taught as a kid if you’ve been blessed, you should have to be a blessing back.”
