As Bayern Munich seeks to work out a deal with Burnley for head coach Vincent Kompany, there is reportedly a feeling of betrayal occuring within the English club per journalist Sacha Tavolieri (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
People inside Burnley feel ‘betrayed’ and there will be no gifts to Bayern regarding the compensation fee due to the manner of Kompany’s exit. Bayern remain confident an agreement will be reached. Deal expected to be higher than €15m. Kompany is still waiting for the green light.
According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), if Bayern Munich and Burnley can work out an agreement on a fee, Kompany has a portion of his staff already identified:
All contractual details between Bayern and Vincent Kompany have been agreed. 3-year contract until 2027. He will bring Floribert Ngalula as assistant coach and Bram Geers as athletic coach. René Maric will also join the staff as assistant coach. Now all that’s missing is the agreement with Burnley.
While nothing is finalized just yet, it sure looks like Burney head coach Vincent
Kompany will be named the new manager of Bayern Munich in the coming days.
So…what will his coaching staff looking look like? Well, per Tz reporters Mono Bonke and Philipp Kessler (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), it is coming together nicely:
Vincent Kompany’s backroom staff at Bayern should the deal go through:
• Floribert N’Galula : Kompany’s assistant coach at Anderlecht and Burnley
• René Marić : assistant coach – current Bayern U19 head coach
• Bram Geers : Fitness coach
• Rodyse Munienge : Kompany’s confidant/close friend – personal assistant – works more in the background
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri provided additional detail on Geers’ role:
The Belgian ex-Sporting Anderlecht physical coach Bram Geers will join Vincent Kompany at Münich. Kompany loves his abilities to match the data analyse with the performance of the players on the pitch. #mercato
