Sunderland are about to have a new manager taking charge, according to reports from the Italian media.

They report that Sunderland and the coach have agreed to a two-year contract, with an option for another year should things go well.

Djurgården youngster Lucas Bergvall has admitted his impending departure from the club to join Tottenham has left him feeling a little depressed.

The Swedish youngster has been speaking to Fotboll Direkt about his impending move to Tottenham after they sealed his signature earlier this year.

“It feels depressing of course. I enjoy myself here, so it feels really sad to leave everyone here, but I hope to come back at some point.

“You start to realize that it is the last game here now for hopefully maybe 17 years. That is the plan. It is. I want to finish here, but then you don’t know if you will get injured or finish abroad. But yeah, that’s the plan.

“Djurgården has meant an incredible amount to me and has been a big part of my life. So yes, the club has meant a lot.”
