Andreas Pereira to leave Fulham?

Kia Joorabchian manages Andrea Pereira’s affairs within the Premier League, as the Iranian agent might be angling for a new club for his client in the close season. The 28-year-old Fulham star has been a good performer since joining the club two years ago from Manchester United for £10 million, but the time may have come for a new adventure.

The report stresses a verbal agreement with manager Marco Silva that suggests Silva would not leave for the first two years, but after that, both parties might have to consider their options. Fulham, for their part, are ready to demand a fee between £30-35 million, which seems fair in this market, as there are some key suitors prepared to pounce on the 28-year-old Brazilian.

Additionally, Fulham may have begun searching for a replacement, with Arsenal’s Emile Smith-Rowe considered a key target. However, losing Pereira might push the club back a little, but he’s a player they can recover from in a short span if Silva manages to find the proper successor.

Pereira may also want to play in the Champions League, but only a few clubs could offer him a chance to do so. However, he will decide after the Copa America, as he’s part of the Brazilian national team squad for the continental tournament. This is also a factor Fulham will consider when asking for a high fee in return.

Aston Villa, Spurs and Newcastle keen on Pereira

Aston Villa are interested and the only suitor among all of Pereira’s suitors that can offer him Champions League football next season. Unai Emery would want a creative player in the ranks, something he probably lacks in the current setup. He looks forward to building a team good enough to sustain all challenges.

Tottenham are also a good option and certainly an upgrade from Fulham, although moving within London may only get him Europa League football. As for Newcastle, they might have the lowest chance of all three clubs to sign the 28-year-old Fulham star, as they are not playing in Europe next season.
