Coventry City contract news from Coventry Live as reports in the Turkish press reveal the finer details of Haji Wright’s transfer, including promotion bonuses and a hefty sell-on clause
It is claimed by a Turkish publication that a number of clauses were agreed when the 26-year-old joined the Sky Blues for a club record fee of £7.7million last August, on the eve of the new Championship campaign. The report says that Antalyaspor will earn another 2 million Euros (almost £1.7m) if Mark Robins’ men are promoted to the Premier League although that clause, according to the article, is only active for two seasons, meaning the Turkish club will be desperately hoping Coventry gain promotion next term, having fallen short of the play-offs last time out.
