10 to 12 teams trying to sign Kaizer Chiefs target?

Reported Kaizer Chiefs target Stanley Nwabali is the definition of a wanted man. His goalkeeper coach has revealed a long list of offers.

Stanley Nwabali is living a footballer’s dream. The Kaizer Chiefs target has received 10 to 12 offers to leave Chippa United.

The reports have been endless. Chippa United’s Nigerian goalkeeper was initially targetted by Kaizer Chiefs, before a wave of new admirers emerged after Afcon 2023.

According to his goalkeeper caoch coach, the 28-year-old goalkeeper is in high demand.

“On physical hard copy paper, I don’t know how many offers he has received. But verbally, he has around 10 or even 12 offers,” Chippa’s goalkeeper coach Sean Louw told FARPost. “He is definitely not coming back to Chippa next season.”

“When he arrived at Chippa, he wasn’t very proficient with his footwork, unable to play from the back,” Louw added on Nwabali’s arrival from Nigeria’s Katsina United in 2022 . “However, he has improved his footwork significantly.

“I have made him understand that football is a business, and he is a brand. He is not just a player. His brand needs to extend to the other side of the world,” Louw concluded.

In the meantime, Kaizer Chiefs recently decided to exercise the contracts of the club’s exsiting goalkeepers. Both Bruce Bvuma and Brandon Petersen sign new deals that will take them beyond the 2024/25 season.
