Tottenham have now released their away kit for the 2024/25 campaign – and there was an interesting message tucked away right at the end of the unveiling video.
Spurs have opted for a classy light blue away strip, which includes a centralised club badge and navy trim on the neck and sleeves, as well as the Nike logo on the right.
Right at the end of Tottenham’s 48-second video unveiling the new away kit, there was an interesting line which read: “Holiday special. Destination. Bilbao, Spain.”
Initially, it seemed like quite a random thing to include in the footage.
However – after a brief bit of research – it became apparent that Bilbao is the location of the 2025 UEFA Europa League final, so somebody at Tottenham is clearly eyeing European glory in the 2024/25 campaign.
With talents such as Micky van de Ven, Pape Matar Sarr, Destiny Udogie, Cristian Romero, Pedro Porro and Heung-min Son in Ange Postecoglou’s squad, we see absolutely no reason why Spurs cannot go all the way in next season’s UEFA Europa League.
The aforementioned names are quality footballers, and Tottenham could soon bring another of the Premier League’s finest to N17.
A story from TEAMtalk recently claimed that Postecoglou has approved a £68m bid to sign Crystal Palace No.10 Ebere Eze, and a meeting will take place regarding the England international soon.
