After bringing her 30-year gold and black career to an end this week, legendary women’s captain Anna Price discusses her decision to retire from football on the latest episode of Wolves Express.

The defender, who made her first-team debut at the age of 15, has spent her life wearing the famous Old Gold shirt, and she discusses the pride she has felt every time she stepped out for her hometown club and how much the women’s side of the club has changed since she first played.

Price’s manager for the last seven years, Dan McNamara, also joins the podcast as he pays tribute to the legendary skipper and reveals what the future might hold for the defender.

Thursday’s episode of Wolves Express, the club’s official bitesize podcast, also hears from McNamara’s men’s counterpart, Gary O’Neil, as the head coach analyses his team’s warm weather training camp in Marbella and their first outing of pre-season in the win over Como 1907

Matt Doherty also features on the podcast as he chats about the difficult week the team have had in Marbella as they tried to cope with playing in ‘unbearable’ weather conditions but how beneficial the training camp will be in preparing the players for what is still to come in pre-season.
