QPR exciting £23m-rated starting XI for West Brom opener if transfer rumours prove true
QPR supporters flocked to Loftus Road to watch Marti Cifuentes’ side take on Premier League opposition Tottenham Hotspur in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
Loftus Road was sold out for that match as R’s supporters hope for a Championship campaign devoid of the relegation scrap that enveloped the team last time out.
Cifuentes and the club have enjoyed a proactive summer transfer window so far in a bid to move up the Championship table with striker Zan Celar and right-back Hevertton two particularly enticing signings. There are still a couple of positions to strengthen in and no shortage of rumours when it comes to potential targets.

Some talk of Watford interest in the full-back but unsure if that really has legs. Was a consistent performer last year and you’d imagine Marti Cifuentes would be keen to keep him. | Getty Images
The signing of Hevertton could allow Dunne to move back to centre-back but there are some questions over a first choice back four. Liam Morrison has arrived at Loftus Road and is a centre-back while Jake Clarke-Salter is still a QPR player – although has been linked with a move away. | Getty Images
