Sheffield Wednesday are now ‘actively’ trying to move out Blackpool linked forward Bailey Cadamarteri according to a report.

According to our friends at The Star, the Owls are now ‘actively’ trying to get Cadamarteri a loan move this summer. Wednesday signed Ike Ugbo from Troyes on a permanent transfer and that has now sped up transfer proceedings, as the youngster falls slightly down the pecking order.

It was reported by Darren Witcoop on August 2, that Wrexham had emerged as the front-runners to sign Cadamarteri. In an earlier report, The Star credited Blackpool along with their League One rivals Lincoln City and Stockport County with interest in the forward. Clubs in Scotland are also interested with Dundee United, Hibernian and Motherwell all keen.

Jack Moore has joined National League side Tamworth on a one-month loan.

The defender spent the first-half of last season on loan at Chorley, gaining plaudits for his displays at Victory Park.  Moore has spent pre-season with Neil Critchley’s squad but will now get first-team minutes under his belt in England’s fifth tier with newly-promoted Tamworth.

Stephen Dobbie has enjoyed his start to life as the Under-18’s Head Coach ahead of their new season kicking off this weekend.

The Under-18’s kick-off their new EFL Youth Alliance league campaign this Saturday with a trip to face Walsall, with kick-off at 12pm at Ray Hall Lane.

Dobbie has taken over as Under-18’s Head Coach following Neal Eardley’s change of role to become Player Pathway Manager and he has enjoyed pre-season with the new squad.

“The new group of first-years coming in we have liked, as shown by how early we tied them down to a scholarship,” he said. They’ve had a great attitude towards pre-season and that’s all you can ask for.

“It’s obviously a massive change for them, going from training three times a week to training every day and having double sessions.  It’s been really enjoyable working with the group so far.

“Having a full squad to work on tactical plans leading into the games has been really good compared to the Development Squad last season where sometimes we were training with five or six players.

“Getting them to play the way we want to play has been a really enjoyable task.”
