The Baggies, seeking to add depth and quality in midfield while limiting their transfer spend, are said to have opened talks to acquire Nonge’s services.
Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports West Brom have been in direct contact with Juventus over a potential season-long loan deal. It’s stated that Albion head coach Carlos Corberan has already convinced Nonge to join for the duration of the 2024/25 campaign, with no option to buy.Nonge, still just 19 years of age, made his first four senior appearances for Juve last season, with two coming in Serie A. The Belgium Under-20 international, who can play as a central midfielder or number 10, has played 84 times for Juve at youth level.
If Nonge joins, he will become West Brom’s eighth signing of the summer transfer window. Albion have already acquired the services of Joe Wildsmith, Ousmane Diakite, Torbjorn Heggem, Gianluca Frabotta, Devante Cole, Paddy McNair and Lewis Dobbin.
