The Celtic fans will expect the club to add more players for the upcoming Champions League campaign and whilst they have no idea whether McCowan could play at that level, the midfielder would help towards the club’s home-grown quota.

Brendan Rodgers is undoubtedly looking to add more than the current four players he has already recruited this summer as the Celtic boss aims to defend his Scottish Premiership title.
