Exeter City captain Pierce Sweeney said that the squad needs to make sure they manage games better after letting slip a lead at Northampton Town. The Grecians were 1-0 up at the Cobblers and in control of the game, but two defensive mistakes cost them as they came away with nothing.

Another solid afternoon's work for the defender, bar one miscued header. Still not quite able to play 90 minutes but he's edging his way there... 7

Tristan Crama’s first goal for the club had put City ahead in the early stages as with just eight minutes gone, he headed home from a Reece Cole corner. Gary Caldwell’s side were much the better side but couldn’t make that dominance count.

Midway through the second half an error from goalkeeper Joe Whitworth was pounced upon by Callum Morton to level things up. And then ten minutes later, City’s backline were all over the place as Cameron McGeehan was left to poke home what proved to be the winner in the 2-1 victory.
