Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilón has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.

The Spanish left-back has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot at the North London club ever since he joined them. He was on loan at Brentford and Manchester United last season and he has returned to his parent club now.

The defender does not have a future at Tottenham and he is expected to be moved on this summer. Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge has now revealed to GMS that the player is likely to be sold.

“Reguilon also doesn’t have a future at Spurs, and there’s a few younger lads that are probably going to go out on loan, Devine and Phillips. Ange’s key target was Solanke, he’s now got a winger in [as well], but I still think there might be one or two things before deadline day.”

The defender is at the peak of his career right now and he needs to play regularly. He will not be able to hold down a regular starting spot at Tottenham and a summer exit would be ideal for all parties. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

He has shown his quality in La Liga in the past and there is no doubt that he is good enough to play for top clubs. A fresh start would be ideal for the defender and it would help him regain his form and confidence.

Tottenham have adequate depth in the full-back areas now and they will look to sell the player and invest the proceeds from his departure into the playing squad.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among a number of Premier League clubs considering a move for Jens Hjerto-Dahl, the highly-rated 18-year-old Norwegian midfielder currently playing for Tromsø.

According to HITC, the young talent has caught the eye of several top clubs, with Tottenham making him a key target as they continue to bolster their squad with promising young players.

This summer, Tottenham has been active in the transfer market, adding several talented youngsters to their roster.

Archie Gray, Yang Min-hyuk, and Wilson Odobert have all recently joined the squad, while Lucas Bergvall, signed in January, has also integrated into Ange Postecoglou’s team.

Adding Hjerto-Dahl would show that Spurs are serious about investing in young talent with a lot of potential.
