Ex-Preston North End and Sunderland manager lands new job alongside Gareth Southgate
Earlier this year, Moyes left his job at West Ham, ending a five-year reign which saw him win the UEFA Conference League with the Hammers. With him being out of work, supporters looked to Moyes when it was announced Ryan Lowe would be leaving, but instead former Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom was appointed.
The ex-Sunderland boss has found alternative work however with it recently revealed that he would be taking up a role as a technical observer for UEFA. He along with Gareth Southgate who recently stood down from the England job, will be tasked with watching Champions League games.
The new role will see him analyse games from a coaching perspective, where he will feed back his findings to UEFA to help improve coaching education.
