As we predicted earlier on, there will be more business done before the transfer window close. The move for Jordan Ayew will hopefully go through today or early this weekend, as fee is agreed. Ayew came on as a sub for Crystal Palace in the season opener. A package payment of £8million is said to have been decided.
The move for Oliver Skip will see it possible to off load Bouba Soumare who then could leave to join Fenerbahce, said to be the front runner in the chase.
The fact that Wilfred Ndidi has signed a long term deal with Leicester, could still see him being attracted to other adventures and other clubs coming in for him, with possibly options in his contract to make a step if possible. Oliver Skip will not be sitting on the bench this season, as we believe his move to Leicester is based on those ideas.
With Jamie Vardy back in action and Jordan Ayew possibly coming in, Tom Cannon looks one that will leave on loan, with a number of different Championship clubs in the chase.
We are also waiting for more moves to happen with players such as Marcal Madivadua, Zach Booth and Ben Nelson as possible departures. They could all be on the move out, we just have to wait and see what will happen.
Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Heineken…
Michail Antonio made West Ham United history on this day in 2021.
Antonio’s special finishes came on a celebratory night in east London as 60,000 supporters returned home for the first time in 541 days.
It was the perfect evening for Hammers fans as Pablo Fornals opened the scoring midway through the first half, before Saïd Benrahma added a second after Ayoze Pérez had been sent-off.
