Arsenal and Tottenham target Ivan Toney has made his decision over moving to Saudi Arabia
The future of Arsenal and Tottenham target Ivan Toney has been a big talking point this summer and the Brentford star has now made his mind up on his future.
Ivan Toney has not played a part in Brentford‘s Premier League campaign so far with the 28-year-old heavily linked with a move away from the Bees.
Fabrizio Romano revealed that there is still Premier League interest in Toney and that he could spring a surprise in the final few days of the transfer window.
Arsenal have been linked with Toney while Tottenham are also keen on a deal for the England international.
But Toney also has an offer on the table from the Saudi Pro League, who are willing to pay him £300,000 per week if he chooses to move there.
Ivan Toney makes transfer decision
Prior to his betting ban, Toney was deemed one of the best strikers in the Premier League having ended a top-flight season with 20 goals for Brentford.
But he has failed to have the same impact since his return, which may put off interest from the Premier League.
TBR Football understands that Toney has said yes to a proposal from Saudi Arabia.
Journalist Ben Jacobs explained that Toney has agreed terms with Saudi club Al Alhi, who are set to pay him £50million over three years.
“Ivan Toney has said yes to Al-Ahli, and agreed financials worth close to €60m over three years. Al-Ahli had asked for an answer on Monday,” Jacobs posted.
“Saudi club now trying to reach an agreement with Brentford after seeing a bid of up to £35m with add-ons turned down.”
Still time for Arsenal and Tottenham to pounce
While Toney has agreed personal terms over a £50million deal, negotiations are ongoing between Brentford and Al Alhi over the final fee.
