Leicester City preparing to make ‘shock’ £10m bid for ace who wants Premier League move
Jordan Ayew became Leicester City’s seventh signing of the summer last week but Steve Cooper is determined for him not to be the last.
Steve Cooper got his first competitive win as Leicester City boss on Tuesday night as the Foxes beat Tranmere Rovers 4-0 in the Carabao Cup.
Cooper made seven changes from the XI that started in the 2-1 Premier League defeat at Fulham for the cup clash and would have been pleased as some of his fringe players took their chance.
That will not detract from the fact Leicester need more reinforcements ahead of Friday’s 11pm transfer deadline.
Cooper looks set to spring a surprise, though, as he targets a move for a position Foxes fans were unlikely to consider a priority this summer.

Currently, Mads Hermansen is the Leicester number one goalkeeper, with Daniel Iversen and Danny Ward back-ups.
Whilst a new ‘keeper could be considered nice to have for Leicester, it had been expected funds would instead be prioritised towards attacking players.
