Luton Town are looking to bounce back from relegation this season and compete for a spot in the top six.
Rob Edwards’ side were promoted two seasons ago via the play-offs in the Championship and the Hatters had a year of Premier League football before falling back down into the second tier.
They have now had the taste of top tier football and they will be keen to return, but their squad could do with some work ahead of deadline day later this week.
Luton Town’s ranks do have quality, but in several areas they lack a bit strength and depth.
One position they are fighting hard to add to is the wide areas.
Football Insider now claim the Hatters have joined Hull City in the race for Canaries winger Kamara who has handed in a transfer request this summer.
The Tigers reportedly lodged a bid for Kamara yesterday, but this fresh interest from Luton Town may add a spanner to the works for them in their quest to complete this deal.
Kamara, 21, spent last season on loan at Portsmouth in League One.
His performances helped John Mousinho’s side win the third tier and earn promotion back to the Championship.
He managed eight goals and ten assists in 46 third tier games, and has played just the once in the league so far for Norwich City.
Before that loan spell he was a regular within the Canaries’ youth teams.
He played in 48 Premier League 2 games, scoring 31 and assisting seven.
The young English winger now seems keen to leave for a new challenge after spending many years rising through the ranks at Carrow Road.
