Crystal Palace And Luton Town To Miss Out On Goalkeeper

Crystal Palace and Luton Town target Mark Travers will stay put at Bournemouth on deadline day, according to talkSPORT.

The Cherries goalkeeper has been in demand heading into the final stretch of the transfer window and the arrival of Kepa at the club pushed him further down the pecking order.

Palace and Luton are amongst the clubs to have been interested in signing Travers.

The shot-stopper will not be moving though as Bournemouth have agreed to loan Neto to Arsenal.

Neto is expected to have a medical with Arsenal later today before sealing a loan move to the Gunners for the season.

Arsenal have acted due to agreeing to sell Aaron Ramsdale to Southampton.

That means they will not be able to let Travers go and he will remain at Dean Court beyond the closure of the transfer window.

Travers came through the youth set-up at Bournemouth and has had loan stints with Weymouth, Swindon Town and Stoke City.

He must now wait until January for his next chance to move.

Crystal Palace thinking it is better to stick to the six devils they know

That South London club and and their loudmouth Crystal Palace fans have been annoying me for quite a while now.

After our takeover by the Saudi Arabia PIF, it wasn’t only the Septic Six and their supporters who were jealous.

Crystal Palace fans back then took it upon themselves to unfurlah Malcolm Allison uman rights based flag aimed at Newcastle United and the Saudis.

It wasn’t a very good one and featured a fat penguin instead of  a magpie but those easily pleased South Larndarn braggarts and hypocrites appeared to think they had done something awesome and hilarious.

Palace are a team that when I grew up, were Second and Third division fodder. They relied on playboy manager  for headlines.

They have done well recently to sustain their top flight status and have some canny players. Any team would love to have an Eze or Guehi.
