Coach Jose Riveiro outlines what fans can expect from Orlando Pirates this season

Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has outlined what the Buccaneers faithful can expect from his side this season.

Riveiro has been relatively successful in charge of the Soweto giants and has managed to lead the club to back-to-back cup doubles since his arrival.

However, while the club has thrived in cup competitions Pirates have finished second in the league table for consecutive seasons.

The Sea Robbers will be hoping to finish above Mamelodi Sundowns as they hope to finally clinch the Betway Premiership, a feat which would end the club’s 11 year league drought.

The Spanish tactician said the Soweto giants supporters can expect a fully committed team that will aim to play good football to get the results.

“They can expect a fully committed team, given the challenge that we have ahead of us. They can expect a brave team that will go into games to play good football to get the result that we need which is winning,” Riveiro said in interview with Diski Fans.

“They can expect us to work hard to make them happy, to achieve what they want with the club and those are the things we have in our control and we are going to make sure that happens.

“Let’s see how far we can go with that,” Riveiro concluded.
