Everton are now in desperate need of turning their early form around after three frustrating defeats in a rown.
Sean Dyche‘s side sit rock bottom of the Premier League table having now played three times in the top flight.
There was some positives to take from their Carabao Cup victory last week but the Toffees were unable to continue their momentum in the league after defeat to Bournemouth.
Despite their frustrating start to the new campaign, Everton actually enjoyed a fairly strong transfer window.
Although Everton sold Amadou Onana to Aston Villa for around £50m, there was some promising work done with player arrivals.
However, there is one in Armando Broja who fans are going to have to wait a little longer to see in action.
Having finally put pen to paper on deadline day, Broja is waiting to recover from injury before he can make his Everton debut.
It looked like Everton were set to lose out on Broja over the summer with Ipswich Town showing a real interest in him.
However, the Blues were able to provide some much needed firepower up top with the Albania international raring to get going.
Speaking to the Everton club website after making the move, Broja admitted he is desperate to play in front of the Goodison crowd.
“The main thing that stood out for me playing at Goodison in the past was the fans. It was loud. Being on the away team, the atmosphere was remarkable. It’s special and I can’t wait to be on the right side of the fans this time!” he said.
“They’re an amazing fanbase and they really love their football. Hopefully I can make a positive impact on them.
