Rob McElhenney sends message to Tom Brady ahead Birmingham City v Wrexham

Just about 32 miles separate Wrexham and Shrewsbury with both sides fully aware of the magnitude of the occasion.

Wrexham striker Jack Marriott was excited about the clash whilst Shrewsbury boss Paul Hurst called it a ‘massive’ game.

The game itself was all about Wrexham though as Ollie Palmer and Elliot Lee established a 2-0 lead before the break.

Marriott added number three after the break to hand Wrexham a 3-0 lead and bragging rights on derby day.

Wrexham now sit top of League One and yes, it’s only five games of a 46-game slog, but Wrexham have started brilliantly.
