KL RAHUL DRAWS PARALLELS BETWEEN YASHASVI JAISWAL AND HIS OWN YOUTHFUL DAYS
Indian cricketer KL Rahul has been impressed by the talents of young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, drawing parallels between Jaiswal’s current form and his own youthful days.
Rahul, who has been batting alongside Jaiswal in the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT), has been impressed by the 22-year-old’s fearlessness and aggressive approach to batting.
“I saw a little bit of myself when I was here 10 years ago,” Rahul said in a post-match interview. “The way he [Jaiswal] bats, the way he takes on bowlers, it’s quite similar to how I used to bat when I was younger.”
