However, the Daily Mail reported on Friday that Villa and Napoli have agreed on a £7.7million option-to-buy clause in Dendoncker’s loan, meaning there’s a good chance that the Belgian midfielder has played his final game for the West Midlands club.
Dendoncker signed for Villa from Wolves on deadline day in the summer of 2022 but he’s never really been a first-team regular at Villa Park. This season, he played just 15 times in all competitions for the Villans and started only once in the Premier League when he scored in the 3-2 loss at Manchester United on Boxing Day
