While WNBA fans have to wait until May 16 for the new season to begin, there are plenty of storylines brewing as the Unrivaled League marches on.
One of the bigger storylines involves Lexie Hull, who is playing alongside Angel Reese for the Rose Basketball Club.
While she spends her time in the WNBA alongside Caitlin Clark for the Indiana Fever, Hull looks to have struck up some chemistry while playing with Reese.
The two have regularly been seen having fun in practice and on the court during games, with a recent viral video showing Hull and Reese taking part in a celebratory chest bump after sinking a three-pointer.
As a result fans have, unsurprisingly, commented on the situation and called for the duo to be reunited in the WNBA.
“Angel needs to come to the fever,” wrote one fan, while another wrote: “Chicago’s Sky trade for Lexi I like her.”
A third wrote: “Those two should be team mates, the chemistry between them is great.”
Another fan added: “That video of Lexie being introduced at the 1v1 with Boosie playing and Courtney being gagged still kills me a week later, and knowing Angel put her up to it makes it a million times funnier.”
Lastly, one fan wrote: “Lockem up Lexie just come on back to chi town after Unrivaled. We’ll send for your things.”
Hull recently took part in Unrivaled’s 1-on-1 tournament, and while Reese chose not to take part, her influence was still felt.
When Hull took the court to face Rhyne Howard, she entered with a track by rapper Boosie playing in the background.
The video of Hull’s walkout proved a hit with fans, with Reese revealing she played a role in the song selection.
“Yup! and you know who chose that for her,” Reese tweeted.
