Crystal Palace want to sign ‘unbelievable’ Arsenal defender along with Eddie Nketiah
Crystal Palace and Arsenal are both active on the market ahead of this summer’s transfer deadline day.
The two London clubs are already in talks over the transfer of Eddie Nketiah, who is expected to join Crystal Palace in the coming days.
The England striker is surplus to requirements at Arsenal having fallen behind Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and even Leandro Trossard in the pecking order.
Crystal Palace are interested in signing Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal
There are at least five players who could leave Arsenal before deadline day, and Jakub Kiwior is one of them.
However, it doesn’t look like Kiwior has a future at Arsenal anymore.
Mikel Arteta signed Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna in the summer, and the Italian is expected to become Arsenal’s first-choice left-back this season.
That puts Kiwior’s future up in the air, and Crystal Palace are attentive to the situation.
The report claims that the Eagles have an interest in the talented Arsenal defender, who could potentially replace Marc Guehi at the back at Selhurst Park.
Bologna are also interested in signing Kiwior, who was branded as ‘unbelievable’ by Ally McCoist during commentary on TNT Sports during a Champions League game in 2023/24.
Arsenal are now deciding whether to sell Kiwior or loan him out in this window.

The Englishman looked like he was on his way to Nottingham Forest but that deal collapsed. Oliver Glasner called Nketiah and asked him to wait for Palace.
The report claims that Palace are confident of signing the striker in a deal worth £30 million including add-ons. Nketiah has agreed personal terms with Palace which will make him one of the highest earners at Selhurst Park.
