Bryce James, the youngest son of NBA legend LeBron James, has officially committed to the University of Arizona’s basketball program. This exciting news was announced on social media, with Bryce sharing a photo of himself and Arizona head coach Tommy Lloyd in the McKale Center. The 6-foot-6 wing player had multiple offers from top programs, including Ohio State and Duquesne, but ultimately chose to join the Wildcats’ 2025 class.

Bryce’s commitment is a significant addition to Arizona’s roster, bringing a fundamentally sound player with solid perimeter size and a good early skillset. He possesses clear shooting potential with naturally soft touch, compact release, and the ability to make both threes and pull-ups. His left hand is advanced for his age, and he also has a good early understanding of the game. Physically, he has a solid build for an underclassman, but is still growing into his body.

As the second player in Arizona’s 2025 recruiting class, Bryce joins top-25 prospect Dwayne Aristode, a 6-foot-8, four-star ranked player by 247Sports. The Wildcats are also pursuing three top-15 players: Koa Peat, Brayden Burries, and Alijah Arenas. Bryce’s father, LeBron James, expressed his pride and support for his son’s decision, posting a congratulatory message on social media.

Bryce’s older brother, Bronny James, played at USC in 2023-2024 before getting picked in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. This historic opportunity allowed him and LeBron to become the league’s first father-son duo in a game, playing against the Minnesota Timberwolves in October.

The Arizona Wildcats’ program is set to gain significant attention with Bryce’s commitment, and fans are eagerly awaiting his arrival on campus. With his talent, work ethic, and famous last name, Bryce is sure to make a lasting impact on the team and the college basketball scene ¹ ² ³.
